Profile
Applies galvanizing and other corrosion-control finishes to fabricated steel, and coats steel and aluminum coil before fabrication for construction and industrial customers. Revenue comes from a North American plant network, with construction seasonality and input costs tied mainly to zinc, paint and natural gas.
Protects steel and aluminum from corrosion through two North American coatings businesses. AZZ Metal Coatings applies hot-dip and spin galvanizing, powder coating, anodizing and plating to fabricated steel. AZZ Precoat Metals cleans, treats and paints steel and aluminum coil before customers form it into building products, appliances, HVAC equipment, containers and transportation products.
A plant network across the United States and Canada keeps galvanizing capacity near fabricators. Continuous coil lines deliver protective and decorative finishes before fabrication, alongside downstream processing. No single customer contributes a material share of sales.
Construction is the largest end-market exposure, making volumes seasonally stronger in warmer months. Costs depend heavily on zinc and natural gas in Metal Coatings and on paint and natural gas in Precoat Metals; a retained minority stake in AVAIL adds industrial lighting and specialized welding exposure.

Ownership
A 13F quarter can total more than the shares outstanding — sub-advisers file the same block twice, and a filer's own share count can be a quarter stale. No split is drawn from it.
