Profile
Melts scrap and iron substitutes in electric-arc furnaces to sell sheet, bar, structural, and plate steel, then converts part of that output into construction and infrastructure products. A raw-materials arm brokers and processes scrap and produces direct reduced iron, creating a vertically connected North American supply chain.
Turns scrap and scrap substitutes into sheet, bar, structural, and plate steel through electric-arc-furnace mills. The Steel Mills segment is the largest business, selling chiefly to service centers, fabricators, and manufacturers across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
The Steel Products segment converts steel into joists and deck, rebar assemblies, tubing and conduit, metal buildings, insulated panels, racking, overhead doors, and utility structures. Highly automated mills and decentralized operating teams connect production with downstream fabrication.
The Raw Materials segment brokers and processes scrap through The David J. Joseph Company and produces direct reduced iron for the mills. Most facilities and customers are in North America. Results remain exposed to steel prices, construction and industrial demand, scrap and energy costs, imports, and trade policy.

Ownership
A 13F quarter can total more than the shares outstanding — sub-advisers file the same block twice, and a filer's own share count can be a quarter stale. No split is drawn from it.
