Profile

Boise Cascade CompanyBCCMaterials

Distributes commodity, general-line, and engineered wood building products through a nationwide U.S. network while manufacturing engineered wood, plywood, and lumber. Its larger distribution arm is the main internal customer for Wood Products and sources the rest of its broad catalog from third-party suppliers.

Operates through Building Materials Distribution and Wood Products, serving dealers, home-improvement centers, wholesalers, specialty distributors, and industrial converters across the United States. The distribution arm sells commodity lumber and panels, engineered wood products, and general-line materials such as siding, decking, doors, millwork, roofing, insulation, and metal products.

Manufactures laminated veneer lumber, I-joists, laminated beams, plywood panels, and ponderosa pine lumber at U.S. facilities and one Canadian plant. Combining nationwide wholesale reach with internal manufacturing gives these products a large route to market, while third-party sourcing broadens the catalog. Demand is tied mainly to new U.S. housing, with repair and remodeling, multifamily, light commercial construction, and industrial uses adding exposure; results also depend on commodity pricing, wood fiber, transportation, and supplier availability.
