Profile

Brookfield Infrastructure CorporationBIPCUtilities

Owns Brazilian gas pipelines, U.K. multi-utility distribution networks, and a global intermodal-container leasing platform, earning mostly regulated or contracted revenue. Its exchangeable shares are designed to track Brookfield Infrastructure Partners units economically and would convert into a single corporate issuer if the pending simplification closes.

Owns regulated gas pipelines in southeastern Brazil, U.K. last-mile multi-utility and fiber networks, and a global intermodal-container leasing platform. Revenue comes mainly from regulated tariffs, ship-or-pay gas agreements, and long-term leases with major shipping lines. Growth comes from new utility connections, regulated asset-base investment, fleet utilization, capital recycling, and acquisitions alongside Brookfield-sponsored capital.

Brazilian pipelines are shifting from ship-or-pay agreements to a regulated-asset-base regime, while U.K. demand depends partly on housing development. Each exchangeable share is intended to match the economic return of one Brookfield Infrastructure Partners unit; Brookfield provides external management and allocates opportunities. A proposed simplification would exchange the shares for Brookfield Infrastructure Partners Inc. shares, subject to shareholder, court, regulatory, and listing approvals.
