Profile
Operates regulated electric and gas utilities in California and Texas through SDG&E, SoCalGas and stakes in Oncor and Sharyland, earning through approved network investment and delivery charges. LNG terminals, pipelines and renewable-power assets remain in the portfolio while a pending sale would reduce that infrastructure platform to a minority interest.
Owns regulated energy networks across California and Texas. Sempra California combines SDG&E, which distributes electricity and gas around San Diego, with SoCalGas, a gas distribution, transmission and storage utility across Southern and Central California. Sempra Texas Utilities holds stakes in Oncor and Sharyland, electricity transmission and distribution businesses.
Also operates LNG terminals, gas pipelines and renewable-power assets in the United States and Mexico through Sempra Infrastructure. Execution centers on long-lived utility network investment and contracted infrastructure projects. The completed Ecogas sale and pending sale of a controlling infrastructure stake are concentrating capital on U.S. utilities; closing would leave a minority infrastructure interest.
Returns depend on rate approvals from California and Texas regulators. Oncor is ring-fenced and independently managed, limiting access to its cash and control over operations.

A 13F quarter can total more than the shares outstanding — sub-advisers file the same block twice, and a filer's own share count can be a quarter stale. No split is drawn from it.
