Profile
Provides consumer and commercial banking, mortgages, business credit, deposits, and wealth services across Hawaiʻi and the West Pacific. Customer deposits fund a largely real estate-secured loan book, concentrating earnings and credit exposure in island economies.
Operates Consumer Banking, Commercial Banking, and Treasury and Other across Hawaiʻi and the West Pacific. Consumer Banking gathers checking, savings, and time deposits and provides mortgages, home-equity, auto, small-business, credit-card, private-banking, trust, investment-management, brokerage, and insurance services. Commercial Banking supplies commercial and industrial credit, real-estate and lease financing, deposits, and cash management to businesses and public entities.
Builds its franchise through branches, ATMs, and digital channels, with most employees and activity in Hawaiʻi and operations in Guam and other Pacific islands. Net interest income from loans and securities, supported by customer deposits, is the earnings engine; wealth and other service fees add diversification. Regional economic conditions and interest rates shape performance, while a loan book largely secured by real estate ties credit outcomes to island property markets. As a regulated bank holding company, capital and liquidity rules constrain balance-sheet use.
