Profile
Provides consumer and commercial banking, payments, mortgages, and wealth services through its full-service bank subsidiary. Revenue combines deposit-funded lending with payments, mortgage, service-charge, fiduciary, and brokerage fees, while majority voting control remains with a Cook-family Voting Trust.
Operates through Consumer Banking, Commercial Banking, and Wealth Management, centered on The Central Trust Bank. Consumer offerings combine deposits, digital banking, mortgages, home-equity and installment loans, and credit cards; commercial teams provide relationship banking, lending, treasury management, merchant services, and card programs to businesses and public-sector customers. Wealth platforms offer investment management, fiduciary and estate services, brokerage, and financial planning.
Uses local market leaders to make service, growth, and hiring decisions while supporting a branch network across Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Florida. Customer deposits are the principal funding base, while interest income, payments, mortgage banking, service charges, and fiduciary and brokerage fees provide revenue. The holding company depends substantially on bank dividends, which remain subject to capital and retained-income rules.
