Nylabone, Kaytee, Aqueon, Farnam and Zoëcon anchor the Pet segment; its former pet-distribution operation was contributed to a partnership, sharpening the focus on owned brands.
Produces grass and packet seed, wild-bird feed, garden controls, fertilizers and live plants through Pennington, Ferry-Morse, Amdro and Sevin. Manufacturing plus national sales and logistics networks place and replenish products across mass retail, home improvement, pet specialty, farm-and-feed and e-commerce channels, primarily in the United States.
Garden demand is concentrated in spring and summer and exposed to weather. Large retailers generate more than half of sales, while pesticides require federal and state registrations.
