Profile
Manufactures mechanical and electronic cabinet-lock systems and performance-marine components for OEMs, distributors and industrial customers. Product shipments rather than long-term contracts generate revenue, primarily from U.S.-based operations controlled through NL Industries.
Manufactures cabinet locks, electronic access systems and mechanisms for OEM and distributor channels through Security Products. The range serves mailboxes, ignition systems, medical cabinetry, secured narcotics inventory, vending and cash-containment equipment, combining mechanical locks with credential-enabled electronic systems. Factory sales teams, engineers, independent representatives and distributors serve primarily U.S. customers, while a substantial portion is adapted to customer specifications.
Builds wake-enhancement systems, marine exhaust, gauges, controls, trim tabs, rigging hardware and billet-aluminum accessories through Marine Components and its Custom Marine and Livorsi brands. Production is U.S.-based, with certain electronics sourced from Asia. Revenue is primarily recognized from individual product shipments under purchase orders rather than long-term commitments.
Operates as a controlled company through NL Industries within an NL–Valhi–Contran ownership chain. Manufacturing remains subject to environmental and worker-safety requirements, with wastewater-discharge processes centralized at Mauldin.
