Profile
Designs and manufactures fitness wearables, outdoor and marine electronics, certified avionics, and auto OEM systems, selling through retail, dealer, distributor, and manufacturer channels alongside connected-service subscriptions. Its vertically integrated model combines product development with substantial in-house manufacturing, with principal consumer production concentrated in Taiwan.
Designs navigation, communications, sensor-based and information products across five segments. Fitness and outdoor combine smartwatches, cycling computers, handhelds and inReach satellite communications with Garmin Connect and newly acquired TrainingPeaks and TrainHeroic coaching platforms. Marine supplies chartplotters, sonar, autopilots and audio systems; aviation sells integrated flight decks and aftermarket avionics; auto OEM develops in-vehicle computing and infotainment for automakers.
Earns revenue primarily from product shipments through retailers, distributors, dealers and OEMs, supplemented by connected-service subscriptions. Sales span the Americas, EMEA and APAC, with the Americas the largest region. An integrated model keeps most design and manufacturing in-house, supporting coordination between engineering and production. Aviation and auto OEM demand follows certification, regulatory and vehicle-program cycles, while principal consumer manufacturing is concentrated in Taiwan.
