Profile

Cellectis S.A.CLLSHealth Care

Develops donor-derived UCART cell-therapy candidates for blood cancers and applies its TALEN platform in an AstraZeneca collaboration. Its disclosed proprietary focus is lasme-cel for B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia and eti-cel for non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

Gene-edits donor-derived T cells into allogeneic UCART candidates for immuno-oncology, supported by TALEN®/nuclease technologies and manufacturing capabilities. The proprietary clinical focus is lasme-cel for relapsed or refractory B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia and eti-cel for relapsed or refractory non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

Operations span Paris, New York, and Raleigh, with Paris producing starting materials and Raleigh handling UCART clinical and commercial manufacturing and release testing. Most of the workforce has been in research and development.

Clinical and regulatory progress for lasme-cel and eti-cel shapes the business, alongside the AstraZeneca collaboration, which uses its editing expertise and manufacturing capabilities across oncology, immunology, and rare genetic diseases.
