Profile

Gilead Sciences, Inc.GILDHealth Care

Develops and sells HIV treatment and prevention medicines led by Biktarvy, alongside liver-disease drugs, Trodelvy, and Kite CAR-T therapies. HIV supplies most product revenue, while drug approvals, patent protection, reimbursement, and specialized cell-therapy delivery shape the business.

Develops and commercializes medicines across HIV, liver disease, oncology and COVID-19. The HIV portfolio pairs the single-tablet Biktarvy regimen with Descovy, Sunlenca and twice-yearly Yeztugo for prevention. Liver products include Epclusa, Vemlidy, Hepcludex and Livdelzi, while oncology spans the antibody-drug conjugate Trodelvy and Kite’s Yescarta and Tecartus CAR-T cell therapies.

Markets products in the United States, Europe and other approved regions through wholesale distribution, local commercial teams, partners and specialized cell-therapy operations. Long-acting antiviral development and single-tablet regimen design underpin the HIV franchise; recent acquisitions add investigational cell therapy, antibody-drug conjugate and immune-disease programs. Most product revenue comes from HIV, and commercialization depends on patent exclusivity, regulatory approval, payer reimbursement and concentrated U.S. wholesale channels.

A 13F quarter can total more than the shares outstanding — sub-advisers file the same block twice, and a filer's own share count can be a quarter stale. No split is drawn from it.
