Castor Maritime Inc.CTRMIndustrials

Sells ocean cargo capacity through time-chartered dry-bulk carriers and containerships, while majority-held MPC Capital earns management and transaction fees from maritime and energy-infrastructure projects. The business combines vessel ownership with a Germany-centered asset-management platform under founder control.

Owns and charters dry-bulk carriers and containerships for worldwide seaborne cargo transport, earning vessel revenue primarily from time-charter contracts that can be fixed-rate or index-linked. Its vessel activity is run from Limassol through related-party manager Castor Ships, which provides commercial and technical fleet management.

Adds a majority-held MPC Capital platform, based principally in Germany, that generates fees from transaction, company and asset-management, and ship-management services across maritime and energy-infrastructure projects. Operations combine asset ownership with service fees and exposure to associated investments. Charter revenue remains dependent on freight markets, a small group of charterers, vessel availability and maritime operating requirements, while the asset-management business depends on project origination, clients, personnel and managed assets. Founder Petros Panagiotidis retains voting control through affiliated preferred shares.
