Profile
Collects animal-agriculture and food-industry residuals, transforms them into feed proteins and fats, collagen and gelatin, and renewable-fuel inputs, and sells them through Feed, Food, and Fuel Ingredients. A global processing network links Rousselot with the Diamond Green Diesel joint venture.
Collects animal-agriculture and food-industry residuals, then processes them through Feed Ingredients, Food Ingredients, and Fuel Ingredients. Outputs include proteins and fats for animal feed, gelatin and collagen for human nutrition, and feedstocks or finished renewable fuels.
An acquisition-built network spans North America, Europe, South America, and other markets, linking collection routes with processing plants and specialty technologies. Rousselot anchors collagen and gelatin, while the Diamond Green Diesel joint venture with Valero converts fats and used cooking oil into renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel.
Results depend on feedstock availability and pricing, animal-fat and used-cooking-oil markets, plant operations, and renewable-fuel standards, mandates, and tax credits. The proposed combination of Rousselot with PB Leiner remains subject to regulatory approval.
