Profile

Dauch CorporationDCHConsumer Discretionary

Manufactures axles, driveshafts, and forged or sintered-metal driveline components for automakers, historically concentrated in North America and built around General Motors and other Detroit-area customers. In 2026 the company roughly doubled its scale by absorbing a London-listed peer's driveline and powder-metallurgy operations and took on its founder's surname as its new name.

Makes axles, driveshafts, sideshafts, and propshafts that carry power from an engine or electric motor to the wheels, along with forged and sintered-metal parts used elsewhere in a vehicle's drivetrain, across combustion, hybrid, and electric platforms.

The business traces to a 1994 buyout of five General Motors axle and forge plants, which made General Motors the dominant early customer; Stellantis and Ford round out a base still concentrated in a handful of automakers, with manufacturing anchored in the US and stretching into Mexico, South America, Europe, and Asia.

In early 2026 the company absorbed a London-listed driveline and powder-metallurgy supplier, roughly doubling in size, adding eDrive, all-wheel-drive, and sintered-metal-powder lines, and adopted its founder's surname as its new corporate name.
