Profile

EOG Resources, Inc.EOGEnergy

Explores for, develops, produces and markets crude oil, natural gas liquids and natural gas, with nearly all reserves in U.S. basins. Production centers on the Delaware, Eagle Ford, Dorado and Utica plays, while offshore Trinidad contributes a smaller natural gas business.

Explores for, develops, produces and markets crude oil, natural gas liquids and natural gas. Core U.S. areas include the Delaware Basin, Eagle Ford and Dorado in South Texas, Utica, Powder River and Williston. Offshore Trinidad supplies most international production; Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates host exploration.

Builds drilling inventory from internally generated prospects and applies reservoir models, horizontal drilling technology and field expertise. The Encino acquisition made Utica a third foundational play beside Delaware and Eagle Ford.

Revenue comes from commodity sales and gathering, processing and marketing. Results depend on commodity prices, service and transport costs, infrastructure access, and permits and rules for hydraulic fracturing and emissions.
