Profile

Evergy, Inc.EVRGUtilities

Generates, transmits, distributes, and sells regulated electricity through integrated utilities across Kansas and Missouri, serving residential, commercial, industrial, and wholesale demand. Revenue and investment recovery are shaped by state-approved retail rates, while wholesale power and transmission operate within the Southwest Power Pool.

Generates, transmits, distributes, and sells electricity across Kansas and Missouri through the integrated utilities Evergy Kansas Central, Evergy Metro, and Evergy Missouri West; Evergy Kansas South operates under Kansas Central. Residential, commercial, and industrial accounts form the retail base, while surplus power is sold through the Southwest Power Pool wholesale market.

Execution centers on generation and field operations, grid modernization, service reliability, customer energy programs, and additions to dispatchable and renewable supply. The utilities share the Evergy name and are managed as one reportable segment, but their retail rates and investment recovery are set by Kansas and Missouri regulators. Federal oversight also governs wholesale transmission and the Wolf Creek nuclear station, while demand remains sensitive to summer and winter weather.

A 13F quarter can total more than the shares outstanding — sub-advisers file the same block twice, and a filer's own share count can be a quarter stale. No split is drawn from it.
