Profile

Expedia Group, Inc.EXPEConsumer Discretionary

Connects travelers with hotels, vacation rentals, flights, cars, and packages through Expedia, Hotels.com, and Vrbo, while supplying inventory and booking technology to other travel sellers. Revenue comes mainly from lodging booked under merchant and agency models, with additional B2B and advertising income.

Connects travelers with hotels, vacation rentals, flights, cars, cruises, activities, and packages through Expedia, Hotels.com, Vrbo, and a wider portfolio of regional booking brands. Merchant bookings, agency commissions, and advertising fund the consumer marketplace, while majority-owned trivago earns referral advertising from hotel metasearch.

Distributes the same travel supply to airlines, financial institutions, retailers, travel agencies, and corporate-travel providers through Rapid APIs, white-label storefronts, co-branded products, and the TAAP agent platform. Shared technology, payments, fraud, search, servicing, and the One Key loyalty program support multiple brands and partner channels across the United States and international markets.

Most revenue comes from lodging. Traffic acquisition relies substantially on search engines, and inventory breadth depends on travel suppliers and global distribution systems.
