Profile

First Northern Community BancorpFNRNFinancials

Runs a Northern California community bank that gathers deposits and makes commercial, agricultural, consumer, construction, residential-mortgage, and commercial-real-estate loans. Revenue is chiefly net interest income, with supplemental fees from banking, mortgage servicing, and investment services delivered through Raymond James.

Operates through First Northern Bank of Dixon, a California state-chartered community bank serving individuals and small- to medium-sized businesses across the Sacramento Valley and adjacent Northern California counties. Its branch-led, relationship-based model combines local decision-making with online and mobile banking, commercial and agribusiness credit, SBA lending, residential mortgages, cash management, and deposit services.

Generates most revenue from the spread between loans and interest-bearing funding, supplemented by fees from deposit services, cards, loan sales and servicing, and investment and brokerage services. Commercial real estate is the largest loan category, while long-term conforming residential mortgages are often sold with servicing retained.

Remains an independent bank holding company whose footprint and loan book are concentrated in Northern California. Operations rely on deposit retention, local property and agricultural conditions, third-party providers including Raymond James, and banking, capital, liquidity, and consumer-protection requirements.
