Profile

H.B. Fuller CompanyFULMaterials

Formulates and sells industrial adhesives, sealants and coatings for packaging, hygiene, medical, transportation, electronics and construction applications through three global segments. A largely regional manufacturing network serves a diversified customer base, while margins remain sensitive to petroleum- and natural-gas-derived feedstocks.

Formulates adhesives, sealants, coatings and other specialty chemicals through Hygiene, Health and Consumable Adhesives, Engineering Adhesives, and Building Adhesive Solutions. The portfolio serves packaging and converting, hygiene and medical products, electronics, transportation, aerospace, clean energy, roofing, building-envelope, insulated-glass, woodworking and composite applications. Sales operations span North America, Europe, Latin America, Asia-Pacific, India, the Middle East and Africa, with most products made within the region where they are sold.

Competes through formulation breadth, consistent supply, technical support and customer-specific product development. The business sells mainly from its own manufacturing and distribution sites, supplemented by distributors, and no single customer dominates revenue. Profitability depends heavily on petroleum- and natural-gas-derived raw materials, while chemical, environmental and workplace-safety rules shape product development and manufacturing.

A 13F quarter can total more than the shares outstanding — sub-advisers file the same block twice, and a filer's own share count can be a quarter stale. No split is drawn from it.
