Profile
Owns and operates floating LNG vessels that liquefy offshore gas under long-term charters and tolling agreements. FLNG Gimi is producing off Mauritania and Senegal, while Hilli and Esperanza are being prepared for Argentina; growth depends on shipyard execution, host infrastructure and approvals.
Owns, develops and operates floating vessels that liquefy offshore natural gas. FLNG Gimi serves bp's Greater Tortue Ahmeyim project off Mauritania and Senegal; FLNG Hilli is repositioning from Cameroon to a Singapore upgrade before an Argentina charter; and FLNG Esperanza is under conversion for Southern Energy in Argentina.
Builds standardized LNG-carrier conversions and earns through long-term charters, tolling arrangements, availability-based lease payments, operating services and, on some contracts, commodity-linked upside. A second MKII conversion has been ordered for future chartering.
Performance depends on vessel uptime, shipyard delivery, customer gas and pipeline infrastructure, project financing, and regulatory and governmental approvals. Revenue is concentrated in a small fleet and a few long-term counterparties.
