Profile

Warrior Met Coal, Inc.HCCEnergy

Mines premium non-thermal steelmaking coal at three Alabama longwall operations and exports it to blast-furnace customers across Asia, Europe, and South America. Coal sales drive revenue, with ancillary natural gas and royalty income; operations remain concentrated in Alabama and tied to seaborne pricing and global steel demand.

Mines non-thermal steelmaking coal from the Mine No. 4, Mine No. 7, and Blue Creek underground operations in Alabama. Mine No. 7 produces premium low-vol hard coking coal; Mine No. 4 and Blue Creek supply High Vol A coal, while captured mine gas and property royalties provide ancillary revenue. Output is sold mainly to blast-furnace steelmakers across Asia, Europe, and South America.

Runs longwall mines and moves coal by rail or barge to export terminals around Mobile, supporting flexible access to seaborne customers. Blue Creek is fully operational and broadens the product mix after completion of its construction phase. Revenue and production depend on global steel demand and steelmaking-coal prices; all three mines remain concentrated in Alabama and subject to mining-safety, environmental, permitting, and reclamation requirements.
