Profile
Sells new and used boats and yachts, then adds service, parts, storage, charter, financing, insurance, brokerage, and yacht chartering around that customer base. Retail Operations carries most activity, while Product Manufacturing owns Cruisers Yachts, Aviara, and Intrepid Powerboats.
Combines boat and yacht retail with marinas, storage, service, parts, finance and insurance, brokerage, yacht charter, and MarineMax Vacations. Retail Operations is the main segment and also includes Fraser Yachts, Northrop & Johnson, and IGY Marinas.
The footprint began as a 1998 roll-up of five recreational boat dealers and has expanded through dealer, marina, superyacht, digital, and manufacturing acquisitions. Retail dealerships are concentrated in the US, while IGY and superyacht services add international exposure across the Americas, Caribbean, Europe, and Asia.
Owned manufacturing sits in Product Manufacturing through Cruisers Yachts, Aviara, and Intrepid Powerboats. The model depends on discretionary boat demand, marina and storage utilization, service execution, acquisition integration, and relationships with premium boat brands such as Sea Ray, Boston Whaler, and Azimut.
