Invivyd, Inc.IVVDHealth Care

Develops and commercializes monoclonal antibodies for serious viral infectious diseases. PEMGARDA, its first authorized medicine, is used for COVID-19 pre-exposure prophylaxis; its commercial model depends on an emergency use authorization.

PEMGARDA is Invivyd’s first authorized medicine, a monoclonal antibody for COVID-19 pre-exposure prophylaxis in specified immunocompromised adults and adolescents. That authorization moved the company from clinical development into commercial-stage operations focused on serious viral infectious diseases.

Its INVYMAB platform combines viral surveillance, predictive modeling, and antibody engineering to generate antibodies as viral threats evolve. The business began with SARS-CoV-2, and PEMGARDA is its first commercial product.

PEMGARDA is authorized under an FDA emergency use authorization rather than conventional approval. Its authorization is scheduled to terminate unless the relevant regulatory situation changes.
