Develops medicines centered on sotagliflozin for heart failure and other cardiometabolic conditions. INPEFA, the approved form of sotagliflozin, remains available to heart-failure patients and existing prescribers while the company directs most resources to clinical development.

Sotagliflozin is in the pivotal SONATA-HCM trial for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and is pursued as ZYNQUISTA for type 1 diabetes. Pilavapadin is being advanced for diabetic peripheral neuropathic pain, and LX9851 is licensed to Novo Nordisk for obesity and metabolic disorders.

Following the removal of commercial operations and field promotion in 2024, the business concentrates on clinical development rather than an internal commercial field force. Its operations depend on trial progress, regulatory approvals, collaborations, and commercialization.
