Mustang Bio, Inc.MBIOHealth Care

Develops the MB-109 brain-cancer program, combining an oncolytic virus with IL13Rα2-directed CAR T cells through licenses and work with academic partners; it has no approved products or product revenue.

Develops MB-109, an experimental treatment program for recurrent glioblastoma and high-grade astrocytoma. The program combines MB-108, an oncolytic herpes virus intended to alter the tumor environment, with MB-101, autologous CAR T cells directed at IL13Rα2-positive tumors. Neither component has been tested clinically together, and there are no approved products or product revenue.

Works through a U.S.-centered network of academic institutions rather than a commercial operating footprint. City of Hope licenses and supports MB-101, while Nationwide Children's Hospital licenses MB-108; potential combination-study supply may also involve NIH manufacturing. Development depends on partner coordination, trial execution, manufacturing capacity, regulatory progress, and equity financing. Fortress Biotech retains voting control and related-party fee rights.
