Profile

Minerals Technologies Inc.MTXMaterials

Turns bentonite, calcium carbonate and other minerals into cat litter, specialty additives, refractory systems and environmental solutions for consumer and industrial markets worldwide. Revenue is split between Consumer & Specialties and Engineered Solutions, supported by owned or controlled mineral reserves, satellite plants and application-focused technical service.

Turns bentonite, calcium carbonate and other minerals into consumer products, functional additives and industrial process systems. Consumer & Specialties combines Household & Personal Care—covering cat litter, personal care, fabric care and filtration products—with Specialty Additives for paper, packaging, food, pharmaceuticals, coatings, adhesives and plastics.

Engineered Solutions comprises High-Temperature Technologies for foundries, steelmakers and other heat-intensive industries, plus Environmental & Infrastructure products for remediation, water treatment, construction and drilling. Operations span North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America.

A mine-to-market model pairs owned or controlled mineral reserves with application engineering, nearby satellite plants and technical service. Performance depends on access to suitable reserves and raw materials, host paper mills, cyclical steel and construction demand, shipping economics and talc-related obligations connected to BMI OldCo.

A 13F quarter can total more than the shares outstanding — sub-advisers file the same block twice, and a filer's own share count can be a quarter stale. No split is drawn from it.
