Profile

Oil-Dri Corporation of AmericaODCMaterials

Mines and manufactures sorbent minerals for cat litter, fluids purification, agricultural carriers, animal-health additives, industrial absorbents, and sports-field materials. Sales are organized through retail-wholesale and business-to-business groups, with operations concentrated in the U.S. and supported by processing plants and subsidiaries abroad.

Mines, manufactures, and markets absorbent and adsorbent mineral products built mainly from calcium bentonite, attapulgite, and diatomaceous shale. Retail and Wholesale Products Group covers Cat's Pride, Jonny Cat, Ultra Pet, private-label litter, industrial absorbents, and sports-field materials.

Business to Business Products Group sells purification media for edible oils, renewable diesel, jet fuel, and petroleum-based products, along with agricultural carriers and Amlan animal-health products. Ultra Pet added silica-gel crystal cat litter to the pet-care portfolio.

Operations draw on owned and leased clay reserves near U.S. manufacturing sites, with processing in Canada and England and subsidiaries in several international markets. Execution depends on mineral availability and quality, plant operations, logistics, customer retention, regulatory compliance, and a family-controlled dual-class structure.
