Profile

CL Workshop Group LimitedNWGLMaterials

Sells logs, sawn timber, flooring, decking, and related products to importers, retailers, and processors through cross-border trading. The operating model emphasizes sourcing, product mix, and logistics after moving away from some forest-management assets.

Trades logs, sawn timber, flooring, decking, recycled charcoal, and related wood products, buying or sourcing goods for resale to importers, retailers, and processors. The portfolio is served through subsidiaries in Peru, France, Hong Kong, and Macau, with customers across China, Europe, other Asian markets, North America, and South America.

Following the disposal of certain Peruvian forest-management subsidiaries and a change in controlling ownership, operations have shifted from an earlier vertically integrated forestry position toward a trading-centered model. The approach centers on sourcing, product-mix optimization, and matching wood products with cross-border demand. Performance depends on third-party timber availability, purchasing terms, inventory and logistics discipline, construction-linked demand, and freight, customs, and timber-origin rules. Public shareholders hold ADS interests in a British Virgin Islands parent above the operating subsidiaries.
