Develops cardiovascular-device therapies through strategic partnerships with medical-device companies. Its lead investigational programs are AVIM Therapy, a pacemaker-compatible bioelectronic therapy for hypertension, and Virtue SAB, a sirolimus-delivering balloon candidate for artery disease.
AVIM is being evaluated in patients who have uncontrolled hypertension and a pacemaker indication. Virtue SAB is being studied for coronary in-stent restenosis, with no balloon coating or permanent implant.
The operating model pairs development of its therapies with partners intended to support global commercialization. Program progress depends on pivotal clinical trials, and the Virtue partnership was reset after the Terumo agreement ended.
