Profile
Makes engineered equipment for offshore oil-and-gas production — subsea connectors, wellhead systems and elastomer components — alongside completion and production services and downhole perforation tools, serving producers and drillers across the US, UK, Brazil, Australia and Southeast Asia.
Engineered offshore oil-and-gas equipment forms the largest business line — subsea connectors, riser components, elastomer seals and wellhead systems, plus contract-manufactured parts for defense and industrial customers outside energy. A second segment supplies services used through a well's producing life, such as flowback, well testing and thru-tubing work; a third builds downhole perforation systems and completion tools.
Facilities span the US, UK, Brazil, Australia and Southeast Asia, serving national oil companies, independent producers, offshore drillers and industrial buyers, with no single customer accounting for a large share of revenue.
The offshore-products line books work years ahead of delivery, while the service and downhole lines track drilling activity that swings with the commodity cycle. Roots trace to a 1942 Texas rubber-components operation; the company went public in 2001 and narrowed to three segments after spinning off its workforce-accommodations arm in 2014.
