Playboy, Inc.PLBYConsumer Discretionary

Generates revenue from direct-to-consumer products, licensing, digital subscriptions and content, entertainment, and Honey Birdette. A transition to an asset-light model relies in part on Byborg's operation of key digital businesses.

Markets the Playboy brand globally through direct-to-consumer products, licensing, digital subscriptions and content, online and location-based entertainment, and Playboy magazine. Honey Birdette is its direct-to-consumer business.

Built from a magazine started in Chicago in 1953, the business also developed entertainment, hospitality and licensing activities. Its current strategy emphasizes a more asset-light model across licensing, digital content, consumer products and experiential offerings.

Under a License & Management Agreement effective in 2025, Byborg operates Playboy Plus, online and linear Playboy TV, and Playboy Club digital businesses. The model therefore depends in part on licensing arrangements and execution of that transition.
