Profile

Preformed Line Products CompanyPLPCIndustrials

Designs and manufactures helical fittings, substation connectors, fiber and copper closures, solar mounts, EV-charging foundations, and utility inspection services. Energy products generate most revenue, with sales tied mainly to infrastructure spending by power utilities, telecommunications providers, contractors, and distributors worldwide.

Designs and manufactures hardware and systems that support, protect, connect, terminate, and secure cables and wires. Energy Products include helical fittings, substation connectors, insulators, motion-control hardware, and accessories for power transmission and distribution. Communications Products center on fiber-optic and copper closures, cabinets, and cable-support hardware. Special Industries Products add solar mounting systems, EV-charging foundations, molded components, and utility-asset inspection services.

Serves utilities, network operators, contractors, and distributors through manufacturing and sales operations across the United States, the rest of the Americas, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific. In-house engineering, testing, vertically integrated production, and local manufacturing support product performance and responsive delivery. Energy generates most revenue, while demand across the portfolio depends largely on utility and communications capital spending; steel and aluminum input costs, tariffs, and changing technical standards shape execution.
