Builds nanosecond pulsed-field ablation systems for soft-tissue procedures and atrial-fibrillation programs. The business is still early commercially, with one reportable R&D-focused segment and progress tied to clinical execution, FDA pathways, and limited market release.
Uses Nano-pulse Stimulation, referred to as nanosecond pulsed-field ablation when ablating cellular tissue, through the nPulse System platform. Current programs center on the nPulse Vybrance Percutaneous Electrode System for soft-tissue ablation, the nPulse Cardiac Surgical System, and the nPulse 360 Cardiac Catheter for atrial fibrillation.
Commercial activity remains concentrated in the United States after an earlier dermatology rollout reached Canada and limited European markets. The current posture is early, with Vybrance in limited market release and cardiac programs advancing through pivotal-study paths.
Execution depends on clinical enrollment, FDA IDE and PMA or clearance pathways, and competition from established ablation-device makers. Control is concentrated with Robert W. Duggan, while Paul A. LaViolette leads the company as CEO and co-chairman.
