Profile
Acquires, develops and produces oil, natural gas liquids and natural gas, with one reportable segment covering Texas and Oklahoma operations. Revenue comes mainly from production sales, while operating subsidiaries also provide well-servicing, site-preparation and construction support.
Acquires, develops and produces oil, natural gas liquids and natural gas through a narrow independent exploration-and-production model. The company owns leasehold, mineral and royalty interests in producing and non-producing properties, and reports one segment for exploration, development and production in Texas and Oklahoma.
West Texas is the core of the reserve and production base, with Oklahoma contributing a smaller operating footprint. Subsidiaries act as operator for many onshore wells and provide well-servicing, site-preparation and construction services for company wells and third parties.
Execution depends on drilling and development results, reserve estimates, service capability, joint-venture and operator relationships, and commodity prices. A long-running repurchase program is part of the capital-allocation identity, alongside a small Houston-based workforce.
