Profile

Post Holdings, Inc.POSTConsumer Staples

Runs branded and private-label food businesses spanning cereal, pet food, refrigerated food, foodservice and ingredients. Built through acquisitions from a cereal-focused spin-off, the portfolio includes a U.K. cereal platform.

Built from a 2012 Ralcorp spin-off, the company owns a mix of branded and private-label food businesses rather than a single operating brand. Its roots are in Post cereal, while acquisitions broadened the portfolio into pet food, refrigerated food, foodservice and food ingredients. Its cereal and egg heritage extends more than a century.

Post Consumer Brands combines cereal and private-label food businesses, including dry pasta, nut butters, granola and dried fruit-and-nut products. Weetabix provides a U.K. cereal platform. The operating model depends on identifying, completing and integrating acquisitions, and on relationships with major customers.
