Profile

Powell Industries, Inc.POWLIndustrials

Engineers and manufactures custom power control rooms, E-Houses, switchgear, circuit breakers and automation systems for oil and gas, utilities, data centers and other industrial sites. Revenue comes largely from complex, fixed-price projects tailored to end users or engineering contractors.

Designs, manufactures and services custom-engineered systems that distribute, control and monitor electrical power. Core offerings include integrated power control rooms, E-Houses, switchgear, medium-voltage circuit breakers, motor control centers, bus duct and monitoring and automation systems; Remsdaq adds SCADA remote terminal units for substations.

Serves oil and gas facilities, including LNG, petrochemical plants, electric utilities, data centers and other industrial sites, with additional work in light-rail traction power. Business is concentrated in the United States, while operations in Canada and the United Kingdom support international work. Application engineering, project management and systems integration combine components into customer-specific packages.

Revenue comes primarily from long-term fixed-price contracts recognized over time. Large, complex projects are often nonrecurring, so award timing, execution costs and customer capital spending shape results.

A 13F quarter can total more than the shares outstanding — sub-advisers file the same block twice, and a filer's own share count can be a quarter stale. No split is drawn from it.

Shares outstanding 36.43M · Float 28.85M · 79.2% free float

A split settled inside the quarter being compared, so quarter-on-quarter change is not shown.
