Profile
Produces and licenses films and television, operates CBS and cable networks, and sells subscription and ad-supported streaming through Paramount+ and Pluto TV. Revenue spans theatrical release, licensing, advertising, subscriptions, and distribution fees, while nonvoting Class B shares sit under Ellison family control.
Produces and distributes film, television, news, sports, and entertainment through three segments. Studios includes Paramount Pictures, CBS Studios, Paramount Television Studios, Miramax, Nickelodeon Animation, and Skydance animation, film, television, games, and sports operations. Direct-to-Consumer houses Paramount+, Pluto TV, BET+, and Paramount+ with Showtime. TV Media spans CBS broadcast and stations, cable networks including Nickelodeon, MTV, BET, and Comedy Central, and international free-to-air networks.
Monetizes programming through theatrical release, licensing, advertising, streaming subscriptions, and distributor and CBS affiliate fees across domestic and international markets. Its library and brands support reuse across owned networks and streaming services, while TV Media remains exposed to pay-TV subscriber declines and advertising demand. The Warner Bros. Discovery acquisition has cleared required regulatory reviews, but closing remains delayed by a state antitrust case. Class B shares are nonvoting, and Ellison-controlled entities hold the voting Class A stock.
