Profile
Runs omnichannel marketplaces for commercial equipment and vehicles through Ritchie Bros. and IAA, supported by data, benchmarking, appraisal and parts-service technology. Marketplace transactions and related services span North America and international markets, while the model depends on asset supply, buyer participation and continued integration of acquired platforms.
Operates omnichannel marketplaces for commercial equipment and vehicles, anchored by Ritchie Bros. and IAA. Ritchie Bros. sells construction, transportation, agricultural and other industrial assets through unreserved auctions and online channels, while IAA connects sellers and buyers of total-loss, damaged and lower-value vehicles.
Extends those marketplaces with Rouse Services data, benchmarking and appraisal tools, SmartEquip parts-and-service technology and VeriTread. A physical auction-site network complements digital bidding, carrying the model from North America into international markets.
Execution centers on matching third-party assets with buyers across auction and online channels while preserving transparent transaction rules. Acquisitions created much of the current platform, so continued integration between Ritchie Bros., IAA and the supporting services remains a structural operating dependency.
