Profile
Provides private mortgage insurance on U.S. home loans and global property, casualty, financial-lines, and other specialty insurance and reinsurance through Lloyd’s. Earns premiums and investment income across separately managed Mortgage and Specialty segments, with underwriting shaped by housing credit, catastrophe exposure, and regulation.
Operates separate Mortgage and Specialty segments. Radian Guaranty provides private mortgage insurance on U.S. residential first-lien loans, protecting lenders and mortgage-credit investors against borrower default. Inigo writes property, casualty, financial-lines, and other specialty insurance and reinsurance for commercial and industrial clients through Lloyd’s Syndicate 1301 and broker channels. Uses data-driven risk selection and pricing, reinsurance, and capital management across both businesses.
Has narrowed continuing operations after substantially winding down Mortgage Conduit, selling Real Estate Services, and agreeing to sell Title. Mortgage results depend on U.S. housing credit and borrower defaults; specialty results carry catastrophe, geopolitical, claims-inflation, and insurance-cycle exposure. Radian Guaranty must retain GSE approval and meet PMIERs and state capital rules, while Inigo relies on Lloyd’s licenses, ratings, broker distribution, and U.K. regulation.
