Profile
Earns premiums by underwriting specialty property-and-casualty insurance, treaty and facultative reinsurance, and mortgage insurance and reinsurance. Distinct Insurance, Reinsurance, and Mortgage segments span North America and international markets, with results shaped by pricing cycles, catastrophe losses, reserve estimates, and U.S. housing credit.
Underwrites specialty property-and-casualty coverage through Insurance, spanning commercial property, casualty, professional lines, workers’ compensation, travel, and other specialized risks. North America supplies most insurance premiums, while international units operate across the U.K., Europe, Canada, Australia, and Lloyd’s; the platform now includes the acquired U.S. middle-market and entertainment portfolio.
Takes treaty and facultative risk through Reinsurance across property, casualty, specialty, property catastrophe, marine, and aviation lines. Mortgage provides U.S. primary mortgage insurance, international mortgage cover, mortgage reinsurance, and credit-risk sharing with government-sponsored enterprises.
Uses centralized underwriting and cycle management to adjust business mix as pricing changes. Results depend on risk selection, loss reserving, catastrophe severity, reinsurance availability, and mortgage defaults; U.S. mortgage insurers must also satisfy state capital rules and GSE eligibility standards.

A 13F quarter can total more than the shares outstanding — sub-advisers file the same block twice, and a filer's own share count can be a quarter stale. No split is drawn from it.
