Profile
Provides digital cross-border transfers for consumers and small businesses, with newer wallet, card, credit, and membership services built on the same platform. The substantial majority of revenue comes from transaction fees and foreign-exchange spreads, while delivery relies on regulated payment and disbursement partners.
Enables consumers to send money across borders through its mobile app, website, and messaging services, with recipients paid into bank accounts or mobile wallets or through cash pickup. International Money Transfer remains the core offering, while Remitly Business serves small and midsize businesses and Remitly One and the Remitly Global Card add wallet, spending, saving, credit, and membership features.
Routes transfers across more than 175 countries through direct integrations and a broader network of payment processors, banks, aggregators, mobile wallets, and cash-pickup partners. Direct integrations reduce reliance on intermediaries and support faster, more consistent delivery. The substantial majority of revenue still comes from transaction fees and foreign-exchange spreads on global money movement.
Operates as one operating segment. Service availability and delivery depend on money-transmission and payment licenses, anti-money-laundering controls, secure technology, and third-party payment and disbursement partners.
