Extends consumer and commercial loans and provides deposit accounts through Southside Bank across Texas. Southside Bank was formed in Tyler in 1960. Fee-based offerings add trust and wealth-management services, investment management, brokerage, custody, safe-deposit services, retirement and employee-benefit accounts, and estate administration for individuals, businesses, municipal entities and nonprofit organizations.
Operations are concentrated in East and Southeast Texas, the Dallas–Fort Worth area, Austin and Houston, with a branch network that includes grocery-store locations. Management reports the company as one segment; deposits, lending, and fee-generating trust and wealth operations form its core business dependencies.
