Profile
Combines branch-based brokerage and advisory services with asset management, banking, lending, investment banking, research, sales, and trading. Wealth management is the larger of two segments, while revenue also depends on capital-market activity, interest rates, client assets, and retaining experienced professionals.
Global Wealth Management provides brokerage and advisory relationships, asset management, banking, lending, and related client services. Institutional Group handles capital raising and advisory, equity and fixed-income brokerage, research, sales, and trading.
Built through recruiting and acquisitions, the platform connects a U.S. branch network with specialist institutional franchises in Europe. Client-facing professionals retain meaningful autonomy, and the operating model emphasizes long-term relationships and disciplined integration.
Revenue combines fees, commissions, trading activity, and net interest income. Results depend on client asset values, capital-market volumes, rates, deposit and credit conditions, and the recruitment and retention of advisors, bankers, researchers, and traders. Broker-dealers, banks, advisers, and overseas operations also remain subject to extensive regulation.
