Builds customized equipment and process solutions for printed-circuit-board and substrate manufacturing, photovoltaics, glass, and energy storage. Its offering spans automation, wet and vacuum processes, plus service work such as upgrades, parts, training, maintenance, and project management.
Manufactures in Germany and China, while most research and development is conducted in Freudenstadt. Customer development and service support accompany the equipment business, and fifth-generation family ownership and management remain a defining structural feature.
Rooted in an 1864 iron foundry and mechanical factory, the group later expanded from PCB equipment into solar and energy-storage technologies. Nasdaq trading of the current ordinary shares began in 2024 following a business combination.
