Profile
Develops and sells architectural paints, consumer brands and industrial coatings through Paint Stores, Consumer Brands and Performance Coatings. A primarily North American company-operated store network provides direct access to contractors, while retail partners and global branches distribute products to consumers and industrial customers.
Develops, manufactures and sells paints, coatings and related products through three operating segments. Paint Stores Group reaches professional contractors and do-it-yourself customers through nearly 4,900 company-operated specialty stores across the United States, Canada and the Caribbean. Consumer Brands Group supplies branded and private-label architectural paints, stains, wood finishes, aerosols, caulks and adhesives to retailers, dealers and distributors, while supporting manufacturing and logistics across the enterprise.
Performance Coatings Group sells industrial coatings worldwide for automotive refinish, packaging, coil, protective and marine, wood and general industrial applications. The model combines controlled brands, technical service and direct distribution with third-party retail channels; Suvinil adds architectural-paint operations in Brazil. Demand is tied to cyclical construction, housing and manufacturing activity, and production relies on resins, latex, pigments, solvents and containers whose costs vary with commodity and energy markets.

Ownership
A 13F quarter can total more than the shares outstanding — sub-advisers file the same block twice, and a filer's own share count can be a quarter stale. No split is drawn from it.
