Profile

Standard Motor Products, Inc.SMPConsumer Discretionary

Vehicle Control, Temperature Control, Nissens Automotive, and Engineered Solutions supply replacement parts and custom components for aftermarket distributors, retailers, OEMs, and equipment makers. Demand ties to repair needs, vehicle age, weather, customer concentration, Nissens integration, and production cycles.

Vehicle Control, Temperature Control, and Nissens Automotive supply replacement parts for engine management, electrical and safety systems, air conditioning, cooling, and other thermal applications. Engineered Solutions designs custom components for vehicle and equipment manufacturers in commercial, construction, agriculture, power sports, marine, hydraulics, and lawn and garden markets.

The aftermarket base is anchored in North America, while Nissens adds a stronger Europe-facing thermal position. Execution rests on premium brands, broad catalog coverage, supply-chain service, field support, technical training, and in-house manufacturing processes.

Demand follows vehicle age, miles driven, weather extremes, and non-discretionary repair work; Engineered Solutions follows customer production rates. Sales also depend on large aftermarket customers and the continued integration and control remediation of Nissens Automotive.
