Profile

SUNation Energy Inc.SUNEIndustrials

Installs residential and commercial solar systems, battery storage, roofing and lifecycle services through SUNation NY and Hawaii Energy Connection. The vertically integrated model keeps sales, design, installation and service in-house, while revenue remains centered on residential projects financed largely with third-party loans.

Operates two regional solar-and-storage businesses: SUNation NY on Long Island and Hawaii Energy Connection in Hawaii. Residential rooftop systems form the core offering, complemented by battery storage, backup power, commercial installations and integrated roofing.

Controls sales, design, installation and service in-house. Regional teams also maintain its own systems and eligible systems left behind by former installers; Hawaii uses E-Gear technology to aggregate customer batteries for utility grid services.

Earns most revenue from residential solar and battery projects, where homeowners commonly use third-party loans and lenders pay as installation milestones are completed. Commercial projects are recognized as work progresses.

Operations remain concentrated in New York and Hawaii, with project activation dependent on utility interconnection, local incentives, permits, tariffs and financing availability.
