Profile
Markets established brands, generic and complex generic medicines, and a developing portfolio of innovative drugs through four geographic businesses. Revenue spans developed and emerging markets, while approvals, regulated pricing, manufacturing quality, and reliable supply shape results.
Markets branded medicines, generic and complex generic drugs, and a developing set of patent-protected products across cardiovascular, infectious disease, respiratory, central nervous system, and other therapeutic areas. Established brands such as Lipitor, Norvasc, Lyrica, Viagra, EpiPen, and Creon sit alongside higher-volume generics and complex products including inhaled and injectable therapies. Sales are managed through Developed Markets, Greater China, JANZ, and Emerging Markets.
Uses an integrated research, regulatory, manufacturing, supply-chain, and commercial platform to launch and distribute medicines in more than 165 countries and territories. Portfolio simplification divested the owned biosimilars platform, most consumer health, women's health, and Indian active-ingredient operations, while investment shifted toward limited-competition generics, value-added medicines, and innovative brands. Performance depends on drug approvals, regulated pricing and reimbursement, patent and exclusivity cycles, manufacturing compliance, and reliable global supply.
