Profile

Walmart Inc.WMTConsumer Staples

Sells groceries, general merchandise, health and wellness products, and fuel through stores, clubs, websites, and apps, with added revenue from memberships, advertising, marketplaces, fulfillment, and financial services. The U.S. segment contributes most sales, and the store network doubles as a pickup and delivery system.

Sells groceries, general merchandise, health and wellness products, and fuel through Walmart U.S. stores and digital channels; Walmart International retail, wholesale, and e-commerce operations; and Sam’s Club U.S. membership warehouses. The U.S. business contributes most sales, while international operations extend across the Americas, Africa, China, and India through stores, marketplaces, and businesses including Flipkart. Walmart+ and Sam’s Club memberships, Walmart Connect advertising, marketplaces, fulfillment, and financial services add fee and service revenue around the retail base.

Links stores, clubs, apps, and an extensive supply chain to offer everyday-low pricing, pickup, and delivery. Store density supports rapid local fulfillment, while everyday-low-price and everyday-low-cost disciplines connect price leadership with expense control. Operations depend on global suppliers, distribution and fulfillment systems, trade rules, and secure digital infrastructure.
